It has been a long time since my last entry here, but what happened today is sooooooooo worth writing down that I must reopen this xanga. Hahahahahahahahaha!

Today I worked at home in the morning (was lucky that client agreed to fax me the supportings and I did not need to climb up a loooooooong stair case just to observe some vouchers) and then went to the dentist (who was kind enough to clean my teeth during his lunch hour and give me a discount). Afterwards, went to SOGO Thankful Week to see if I could buy some goooooooooodies, but instead met Joejoe and Kittttttty in Mango and started to shop together. Coincidently, Joejoe has dated Kennie (our Ying Wa classmate, who I met last week in G2000 and she thought my aunt was my mother!) for tea and invited me along. So smart ME suggested to go to 麻布茶房, we had waffles and noodles and was very kind to the waitress who served us as she looked like 15 and was a bit nervous while serving our food.

Anyway the most important thing is that while we were chatting and just after we took some photos, I SAW a MAN in MASK walking towards our direction (he was wearing a shinny jacket and jeans).............it was MY FAVORITE 周杰倫 lei!!!!!!!!!!!!! O MY GOD!!!!! Without hesitation, I raised from our table and went over to ask if I could take a picture with him la.... but the guy next to him (who I recognise should have played a part in 杰倫's MTV) at once said "不能拍照..." Being an obedient fan... I did not urge and went back to my table. It turned out that 杰倫 wanted to go to the mens during his shopping .... and when he came out and passed out table... I CALLED to him "BYE!!BYE!!" AND having heard ME, 杰倫 TURNED and WAVED "BYE!!BYE!!" back to ME ar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, when 杰倫 was leaving the shopping mall, there was a 狗仔隊 following him lei, he better NOT spoil 杰倫's shopping mood!!! Super looking forward to 杰倫's concert in HK in December lei! 真係開心死我啦!!!!!!

Went back to UST to take some photos with Joe, Emma, Karen, Jennie and Rosanna ~ I'm graduating! Mom, Dad and Philip will be back for the big day next week.

My lucky day , went to the Welcome Dinner organized by my new employer and got the table prize (City Super coupon) and a lucky draw prize (Disney tickets)!! Actually our table got 3 of the 20 lucky draw prizes ~

For one month, "姐姐" returned to Thailand to enjoy her holiday and new home, leaving me on my own. Things were quite OK la, I started going to trainings at work and didn't spend much time at home, so the house wasn't too messy (apart from my clothes hanging everywhere ). I remembered to feed the fish most mornings (still have all 6 of them in the tank), was only late for training once, cooked dumplings twice, washed and ironed clothes once every week, washed dishes twice (when I ran out of cups), vaccumed the house once (that was in the 1st week), learnt how to pay bills using the ATM machine and did NOT lock myself outside the house. Actually I think I managed quite well, but it's always nice to have "company" la, it's much better to have "姐姐" back at home!!

All of a sudden I turned 23. Like last year, my family are away and could not celebrate with me, but it was no lonely birthday I had.

23 July - Had birthday dinner at grandma's with cousins, uncles and aunt.

24 July - the BIG day! Watched (not choose/ pick/ buy) "Cars" with Ng Sharon using my student ID to get the $10 discount. Had dinner with Bernice in Central, a nice restaurant which gave us extra soup and a bithday candle. And then went to Lan Kwai Fong for a birthday drink.

25 July - Had a birthday treat from Joejoe who took me to a Japanese restaurant in Causeway Bay for supper. The waiters and customers at the next table must have been surprised by our appetite.Then went into Giordano at 11:45pm to shop, bought 2 tops and took the last MTR train to get home.

26 July - The night I had been waiting for a long time. Watched "Phantom of the Opera" with Laurette. I'd say it was a great show. The music, the performers, the singing, the costumes, the settings, the props, the orchestra were really worth the price.

Two funny events happened to me recently

Event 1:

I received a voice message on my mobile with a woman saying, "Hey, it's mom. Are you coming home for dinner tonight?" Huh??? I thought my mother was in Sydney, and indeed she was. Wrong number ah!!!

Event 2:

I received HK$1940 CASH in my mailbox!!! The envelope had no name or address on it. Management office didn't notice who put it there. My uncle suggested it might be money for betting on World Cup??!! (As police arrested some people for illegal gambling in one of the Hang Hau estates the next day.) Obviously that was a good story, but incorrect. It turned out that the money was for my neighbour who explained that his mother-in-law put it in the wrong mail box. Interesting point is that the mother-in-law is "黎萱", an actress from TVB!! Hahaha.....We spoke on the phone lei........

Things haven't been as smooth as they usually are this April, a number of unfortunate incidents have happened. The worst thing was my TV, a very important electric appliance in any household, being blown up!! It was dinner time and I was watching TVB Jade with my aunt, suddenly the TV screen blacked out and there was a bad smell~ Oh~ no~ Went to Jusco to window shop for a TV straight after dinner. I told my parents about the situation but they didn't seem to understand my eagerness and desperate need of a TV, afterall they did survive three whole months without watching TV in Sydney! Luckily, my aunt was visiting and she bought a TV for her new home the very next day, of course she's willing to let me use it for the time being. Other unfortunate things include my notebook being infected while I had to hand in SOSC paper, tasting a stale dessert and nearly not being able to go on the Japan trip. Maybe there's some feng shui problem with the house.....hahaha .....Anyway, things seem to be getting back into the right place now and I hope bad luck will keep its distance from me~

Finally...a NEW LOOK for the NEW YEAR.......like it?

Today I only had ONE, FIFTY-MINUTE class, ELEC 001 Tutorial, happy to find out that Lilian is taking the class as well. Originally I wanted to go to the gym afterwards because I am "totally UNFIT" as said by my hockey coach......"You go on the pitch and run for 2 minutes, then you're walking".....hehehe .... I can't help it....it's all because of the eating since Christmas........ a problem brought down from last year lei! I agree that I really should be exercising a bit more as I don't want to feel like beaten up after trainings and games....But once I got home this afternoon and started playing a VCD....I just couldn't get out of the house again..... Have to leave the exercising for Thursday~

So in order to do something meaningful this afternoon, I decided to freshen up my Xanga a bit la..... and here are a few pictures from my Christmas cruise trip on the Pacific Sun visiting some South Pacific Islands .......

This is Philip, Mom, Me and Harbour Bridge over us while the cruise was departing from the Pier....here we go.......

Million Dollar Point on Luganville Island, Vanatau, the rusty metal you see are the equipment and machines dumped into the ocean by the U.S. army after they left the island when WWII was over!!?

Me, Philip, Coconut Crab and its owner still on Luganville Island, this crab eats cocunut and should be very tasty wor....we had to pay AU$1 to take this picture....hahaha....smart guy...$$

Fisssssssssh and coral seen from the glass-bottom boat at Port Villa, Vanatau....they look like the "zebra-crossing"......we also saw the famous NEMO...but I don't think we got him on camera.

The canoe-rower, Philip and me at Lifou Island, New Caledonia, we could see the fisssssssssh and coral from the surface of the clear water.....I actually got into the water to see them closer and they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.......however, the sea water was really SALTY (just like the soup on the cruise)!!

This is the most beautiful beach we saw in the entire trip, it's called WE on Lamen Bay, Vanatau.......too bad we didn't have time to go swimming ~ ~ ~ ~

Back to SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.................... There were actually lots and lots of entries which I should have put down here during my long vacation......but.......I'll need to postpone the task because they're quite informative and LOOOOOONG!!

Anyway, it's nice going back to school and meeting friends who have been away....need to say "THANKSSSSSSS" to Emma, Kat and Pretty for bringing me gifts from Hawaiiiiiiiiiiii and Europeeeeeee!!

Hope we all have a WONDERFUL SEMESTER!!!!
